Frequently Asked Questions
How long does carpet take to dry?
Typical dry time is 4–6 hours depending on airflow, temperature, and carpet thickness. We use a soft-water rinse and proper extraction to speed drying.
What counts as a “room” for pricing?
Up to ~150 sq ft per room. Large living/dining combos or oversized spaces may count as two rooms.
Do you move furniture?
We can move small/light items as needed. Large or delicate items (pianos, aquariums, china cabinets, electronics) are not moved. Please clear small items and clutter before we arrive.
Is vacuuming included?
Yes, in Total Care Protect. Pre-vacuum is part of that package. The Essential Steam package assumes regular homeowner vacuuming prior to service.
Are hallways, closets, stairs, and carpeted bathrooms included?
These are billed separately. Hallways & carpeted baths: $20–$30 each. Stairs: $59.95 per staircase. Walk-in closets are $20–$30 each.
Do you treat pet urine odors and stains?
Yes. We assess with specialized UV tools and apply targeted treatments. Pricing typically $30–$60 per affected area depending on severity.
Can you remove dye stains like sports drinks or Kool-Aid?
We’ll attempt specialty spotting; results vary with fiber & age of stain. Dye-based stains usually require extra work and are $25+ per spot.
How long does an appointment take?
Most homes finish in 60–120 minutes based on number of rooms, add-ons (stairs, tile & grout, upholstery), and soil level.
What should I do to prep?
Pick up toys and small items, pre-vacuum if you chose Essential Steam, and secure pets. We’ll handle pre-treating, spot work, and cleaning.
